Jn. 8: 31-32 NASB Jesus therefore was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."
Would you die for truth? Hundreds of thousands do daily. Actually, they die from false beliefs about important things. Some simple examples: People die from drunk driving, people die from walking in front of a car--die for the truth of mass , inertia. They die from truth of drug overdose.
Truth then is often a matter of life and death. This applies to eternal as well as temporal life. If Jesus is right -- by not following him there is so much to LOOSE.
What about those who say that yes there are objective truth, but who are we to say that what we believe is right?
I like to hear what your views are on that.
